This is a family staple recipe in my house. It is expected to be on every holiday table, and they will take it anytime I feel like making it. This is one of those recipes that we always referred to as an "Ancient Chinese Secret" so consider yourself lucky to be making it now!
You want to be sure not to cook the dip too long or it will begin to separate.
This can be made up to 5 days in advance and frozen or refrigerate until ready to use.
